Parents of children admitted to GOSH. If staying at the bedside is unsafe, GOSH arranges alternative accommodation. A second parent’s arrangements depend on the ward and available space.

How to ask: Discuss the arrangements with your child’s ward.

Ask the ward what is provided.

When a private apartment may suit the visit

A family may need separate bedrooms, space for siblings or accommodation beyond the period offered by the hospital. Compare the full stay and the route to the right building. The hospital decides eligibility for its own accommodation; the London Residency team requests private apartment quotes.
