Pedestrians, cars and the Evelina entrance

Evelina shares a campus with St Thomas’, but its main entrance is farther along Lambeth Palace Road. The Children’s Day Treatment Centre is a separate building.

Reaching the hospital door

The road directly to Evelina’s main entrance is closed to vehicles. The Lambeth Palace Road approach is for pedestrians; the other route runs through St Thomas’. Main reception and the principal outpatient area are on Ocean, the ground floor.

Arriving by train

The hospital lists Westminster and Lambeth North at about ten minutes on foot, with Waterloo around ten to fifteen minutes away. Its directions describe a step-free route from Waterloo’s exit 3 towards York Road.

Car parking and collection

Parking is in the St Thomas’ car park, with limited spaces. Evelina publishes a short free drop-off and collection period and parking concessions for some families; current conditions are on its travel page.

Bringing someone with you

The hospital’s admission checklist asks families to arrange interpreter or signer support in advance. For questions about the admission, use the care team’s number on the letter or the hospital switchboard.
