UCH: Beaumont Place for taxis
University College Hospital is the Euston Road hospital within UCLH. Its services include emergency care, cancer care, surgery, critical care and children’s and adolescent services. UCLH also runs several nearby hospitals and outpatient buildings; an appointment labelled “UCLH” does not always mean 235 Euston Road.
Taxi and private-car drop-off
Use Beaumont Place at the rear of UCH for private-car and taxi collection or drop-off. Parking there is not permitted. The ambulance and patient-transport bays on Euston Road cannot be used by private cars or taxis.
Main hospital and nearby UCLH buildings
The main address is 235 Euston Road, NW1 2BU. The Grafton Way Building, Macmillan Cancer Centre on Huntley Street and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing have their own arrival instructions. Check the building and department before choosing an apartment or booking a taxi.
Parking with a Blue Badge
There is no general patient or visitor car park. Eligible patients with Blue Badges may need a Camden parking dispensation as well as the badge. Reception asks for the badge, registration number and appointment evidence. The scheme is for qualifying patients, rather than every Blue Badge holder accompanying somebody else.
Rail, Tube and a step-free alternative
Warren Street and Euston Square are the nearest Tube stations named by UCLH; Euston mainline station is also nearby. For a journey requiring lifts, Tottenham Court Road provides an Elizabeth line alternative with street-to-train access. Euston’s rail platforms and Euston Underground have different access arrangements: plan for the service you will actually use.
