Moorfields operates at several locations. This accommodation search is for the City Road hospital, not every Moorfields clinic or the future Camden centre.
Finding the right entrance
The main hospital entrance is on Cayton Street. The children’s centre is entered from Peerless Street. The hospital travel page describes the marked pedestrian approach from Old Street station.
Transport and parking
Old Street serves the Northern line’s Bank branch. The hospital’s travel page also gives alternative stations and bus routes for a step-free journey. Parking around City Road is limited and nearby public car parks are independently run.
Help inside the hospital
The Health Information Hub is near the main entrance at City Road. Eye clinic liaison officers and volunteers can help patients and families find practical support; the ECLO office is on the ground floor near the cashiers’ office.
The future Camden centre
Moorfields plans to move its City Road services, including children’s services and Moorfields Private on Bath Street, to the Moorfields and UCL Centre for Eye Health in Camden. The hospital publishes progress and relocation information separately.
